I’ve developed copy for a wide variety of print formats, including direct mail, gift packaging, brochures, and more. I have a few things highlighted below, but feel free to shoot me a note if you have any questions or want to see additional work.
Every year, Nationwide invites high-producing agents and financial professionals to a luxurious weekend at the Super Bowl. To entice excitement for the 2018 game in Atlanta, we gave invitees a collectible replica of Eli Manning’s cleat alongside a personalized video message from the quarterback himself. The package also included an itinerary and trip materials.
Part of being in a young company is producing the initial work that’s tested and iterated upon. Such was the case with this triggered direct mail piece for Root, which was sent to customers who started the quote process but never completed their purchase.
We tested two distinct messages (below) — one focused on savings, the other on app reviews — to see which one would land better with customers. Stay tuned to see how it turned out.
The annual report is an extensive piece that showcases Nationwide’s achievements from the past year and highlights their goals for next one. For the 2019 edition, I served as the lead writer for all components of the report. View some of the spreads below, then check out the full report.
Our team was tasked with thinking of a gift — wrapped in an impactful message — that would position Nationwide as a key retirement resource to preferred financial partners. The result was "the talk" theme and a high-end coffee-table book of inspirational quotes. With this concept, Nationwide became a helping hand to financial professionals whenever they had to have difficult retirement-planning conversations with clients.
Ads & One-off Materials
I’m not always working on huge projects. Between each Super Bowl or major corporate event, I work on many one-off pieces and ads. You can see some of the ads below. Click on any of them for an expanded view.
